How to keep from getting razor bumps while shaving?
Answer:
~Get one of those razors with 5 blades in them and shave close, but slowly. If you press too hard, it will leave razor burn. I think there is something made for men that have sensitive skin you can apply after wards. Check into it.~
razor bumps hurt.
1. try and electric razor...the 3 spinning blades...
2. if you did that...there is one thing...but its semi embarassing.
-they now make this stuff for ladies, for their bikini line...its a lotion that keeps the bumps away...you would buy it and use it on your face...which is not at all glorious, but better than hurting. they maybe make it for men now too.
you wont get as close as a shave but try shaving in the same direction as the hair.
you should change the razor blade more often, and before shaving, really rub in the shaving cream, almost like a massage.
To prevent bumps in my bikini area when I shave I soak in warm water (a warm towel on your face would work) and then I use a dab of Dove hair conditioner. This makes the hair softer and easier to cut. I have recommended this to a few friends of mine and even to my husband who was a die-hard shaving cream user. My friends now tell me thanks because they don't get the bumpies and I've noticed less irritation on my husband's face and his stubble is even less noticeable.
