With all due respect - frankly, ulness you're a contortionist you're going to have one heck of a lot of trouble doing a self exam.
Finally, even if you did somehow manage to reach your own prostate you honestly wouldn't know what to feel for in order to know whether or not pathology was present.
I'd suggest you see a primary care physician sooner rather than later both for your physical health as well as to allay your fears.

Also something my friend takes a supplement called Lecithin helps with prostate health(and it also increases ejaculatory liquid heh) might try that or even talk to your doctor about trying it I don't think it could hurt

I don't think you can Charles... firstly you have to know what a normal one feels like.. and unless you have a very close friend.. that isn't going to make you popular. Secondly, you may not be able to reach yours.
Self exams for men as far as I know are limited to skin cancers and testicular cancer. Most guys I know are not physically able to examine their own prostates, and even if they could, they would not know the difference between a normal versus abnormal one. You need your urologist's finger up your butt, not your one.
Never heard of any reports on self-prostate exams for health reasons, give us a link if you know one. Certainly you can stimulate your prostate with something, possibly even your finger if long enough, but that is to get you sexually stimulated, not examined.
