Answer:
Circumcision is when the foreskin is cut off. Here's an illustration and information on the following two links. Of course it hurts.

Circumcision is extremely painful.

The USA is the last advanced nation doing it, but rates have fallen down from over 90% in the 1960s to as low as 21% here in California currently. From CNN:

Circumcision was actually promoted in the USA at first to stop masturbation (in hopes of it being tight enough to require lubes and not have skin to slide since the foreskin is already moist)

USA = highest HIV rates in advanced nations (and highest circumcision rates). CIA statistics:

And one study already trashed the claims of the study that said that circumcision reduces HIV.

If you were considering it because of a tight foreskin, e-mail me from my profile. There are alternatives like stretching and using a cream.
Quite alot I would assume.
It's when the foreskin of the penis is removed.
It's said to decrease sesitivity ...
But I don't think it does.
Circumcison is a medical procedure where they remove the foreskin of the penis. This is the piece of skin that covers the head of the penis. It is mostly performed when a boy is a baby... there are majorly differing opinions on if it's benifical or not. It is painful for the baby and it can be done at any time in a man's life time depending on if it is needed or desired. There is pain involved and there can be some major complications. It would be a good question for your dad or a male relative that you trust...
A needless operation where the skin that covers the glans(known as the head of the penis) is removed usually for an unnecessary reason unfortunately it decreases the sensitivity much and is quite painful can be many bad side affects from having it done though many would beg to differ thinking circumcised is better, bottom line circumcision is never necessary unless you have a spreading infection from there or for looks(which I don't find a good reason I find it better with it) and to replace eyelids if burnt off(pretty much only skin that can replace them)
For men: mutilation involving removal of some of the foreskins. Very painful and unnecessary.
For women: mutilation of the clitoris. Very painful and absolutely unnecessary.
Well probably I mean they cut your dick they usually do it to babies
Circumcision is the procedure that cuts some or all of the foreskin (prepuce) from the penis. The frenulum may also be cut away at the same time, in a procedure called a frenectomy. The word "circumcision" comes from Latin circum (meaning "around") and caedere (meaning "to cut").
Circumcision predates recorded human history, with depictions found in stone-age cave drawings and Ancient Egyptian tombs. The origins of the practice are lost in antiquity. Theories include that circumcision is a form of ritual sacrifice or offering, a health precaution, a sign of submission to a deity, a rite of passage to adulthood, a mark of defeat or slavery, or an attempt to alter esthetics or sexuality. Circumcision of males is a religious commandment in Judaism and Islam, and is customary in some Oriental Orthodox and other Christian churches in Africa. It is also practiced by the majority of South Koreans, Americans, and Filipinos. Infant circumcision is controversial in several English-speaking countries. The American Medical Association defines “non-therapeutic” circumcision as the non-religious, non-ritualistic, not medically necessary, elective circumcision of male newborns. It states that medical associations in the US, Australia, and Canada do not recommend the routine non-therapeutic circumcision of newborns. Genital integrity supporters condemn all infant circumcision as male genital mutilation comparable to female genital cutting, while proponents of circumcision consider that infant circumcision is a worthwhile public health measure.
According to Newell and Bärnighausen, three randomised trials "now provide firm evidence that the risk of acquiring HIV is halved by male circumcision". Although some have voiced doubts about the value of male circumcision in reducing an epidemic , the World Health Organisation recommended in 2007 that "promoting male circumcision should be recognized as an additional, important strategy for the prevention of heterosexually acquired HIV infection in men."
Circumcision may be used to treat inflammation of the glans penis and penile cancer. The use of circumcision to treat phimosis is debated in medical literature.
THERE IS MORE INFORMATION AT ''Wikipedia''.
Its a simple operation to remove the skin that covers the penis head (glans). It is the most commonly performed operation in the world! If it's done a proper medical practicioner it won't hurt at all. Some boys are circumcised for cultural or religious purposes and are not given any anaesthetic - that HURTS!
it's when they cut off some of your skin that shouldn't be cut off you were born with it and it hasn't caused any serious medical problems like foreskinidous that has ever been recorded so leave it alone man
