How do i keep my swimming gogels free frm moisture ?
Answer:
Firstly the straps have to be tight enough and the nose spacer appropriately adjusted to suit your face.
Years ago, we used to rinse them in the pool then spit on the inside of them so they didnt fog up. These days, many of the goggles have a fog free coating which prevents fogging up.. but it is a very fragile coating that is easily scratched.. dont ever wip ethe inside of the goggles with this coating.. just rinse them under clean water after every time you use them to remove the chlorine or salt.
I love swimming. I cant do freestyle backstroke or butterfly anymore because of a shoulder injury.. so I have to do breastroke... I train twice a week but 3.5 km of breastroke twice a week can be tedious. with or without foggy goggles.. :-)
Drop em in the pool before you swim! Literally. Just get them wet.
One of the first things that were taught to me when I took a scuba course was before we went got into deep water was to spit into our face masks and rub it around with your fingers and rinse it in the water that you are about submerge in. There is some chemical in the saliva that prevents the lens from fogging up. Try it, this is no joke it works.
if you mean fog...then you can buy a fog-free spray that stops them from misting up. (can buy it from sports shop)
if you mean moisture as in water...then dont go swimming in them!
wet them
spit on em.
Clean them.
