Zytan is also an antidepressant, have it artificial users within any other instrument apart from stopping nicotine craving?

I was offered zytan by my gp but i refuse it because i am a bit scared of antidepressants. i took the patch instead. they worked for a few months but i am now smoking again.

Answer:
My partner have used zyban a couple of times, and for him it did have some fairly strong side effects - not all of them distrustful though! He found the tablets gave him comparatively a big 'pick me up'. He hadn't had any withdrawl symptoms when coming past its sell-by date them. He did find that it made him drowsy and gave him a dry mouth. Zyban is an antidepressant, but I own never seen it prescribed for depression - at hand are many other antidepressants which own longer track records. My leading concern with Zyban is the increased risk of occupation, but if you have never have a seizure, you are unlikely to hold one due to the medication. If you are smoking again, why not go put money on to your GP and discuss things futher? Remember, you are more likely to furnish up smoking if you get support - why not try one of the smoking cessation clinics along near Zyban or NRT. The patches aren't for everyone, probably the lozenges or the inhalator would suit you better? Good luck.
Don't really know about zytan - but I am within agreement with you in the order of antidepressants.

When I did a web search out this came up
http://www.google.com/search?q=nicotine+...

I stopped smoking cold turkey a year ago on 15 March. In my baggage it was a robustness problem.

I succeeded because I kept reminding myself the very flawless reasons to stay stopped. Also preserve reading about the horrifying toxics in cigarettes for smokers and tame smokers.

There is the Quit helpline and even some websites set up to help you - your GP surgery may even own a cessation clinic.

I think the patch can in some cases hang on to the individual hooked and craving, for others they can be most helpful.

I simply drank water, made herbal teas, ate porridge most days for breakfast, and ate a segment or 6 from an ginger every time I got a craving, go out for walks more regularly and revelled in appropriate clean nouns for my lungs.

I still have my vigour problem but at least I hold slowed down its progress by stopping smoking.

Good Luck and Be a Happy Non Smoker
According to the research I have, allegedly Zyban is merely effective (quit for 12 months) for <5% of smokers though I do know ancestors who have be very successful near it. Also there is an alleged history of demise amongst users of over 50 people surrounded by the last 3 years. Patches fare little better, beside reported success rates of 6-12%. Remember both these methods traffic with the addiction (which is really tremendously weak) but not the habit, which is tougher to break. Acupuncture apparently rates around 15-20%, and hypnotherapy (according to New Scientist Magazine) comes out top. Reports swing between 35-75% success (and nobody died). I must contend an interest, as I am a Certified Hypnotherapist, however I can promise you that my hit rate with clients is channel better than half. Try it for yourself. Its certainly very pleasant. A worthy therapist will concord with the quirk, and that is what most smokers hold to beat. Good luck.
try another brand within patches I don`t know this time works
