Ingrown toenails?
Answer:
You need to go see a podiatrist to get them professionally taken care of. Look up a podiatrist in your yellow pages and get an appointment scheduled ASAP to get them taken care of.
my friend had to get hers surgically removed
Not sure the answer, but I want to tell you this: Ease up on the neosporin. Your feet get fungus infections easily, and putting antibiotics on them, unless directed by a doctor, can really mess you up.
I have had many ingrown toenails and they do hurt something awful. I have always had mine cut out. They numb your toe before they cut it out. Make sure they take the whole toenail not just part of it so it can grow back right.
Go see a doctor. Your toenails could get infected. My friend got ingrown toenails, and she had to have surgery. The way you cut your toenails can cause ingrown toenails. You need to cut them straight across rather than cutting them in a curve.
I've been getting them a lot lately too! my moms a doctor and she just said to soak them lots and try to cut them! Ouch i know what you mean. You can ask your doctor and I'm sure they will have a treatment!!! Good luck!
i get them too. it is important to get it out now before you have to get it usrgically removed. there may not be a way of seeing how bad it is, but just try again and try and bear the pain. if you really can't, it is important to go to a doctor. it may sound silly, but you should get it removed before it causes even more pain.
if its really bad then u need 2 go 2 a foot doctor
but be4 u do that u should go to a nail salon and they usually help u and it costs less then a foot doc
u need 2 cut ur toenails daily 2 keep from getting ingrown toenails and if u cant reach then just get a pedicure cause they cut and file ur toenails for u.
hope this helps!
OK. First of all buy bigger shoes and don't wear tight socks. Buy shoes with plenty of room in the toes, where you can actually wiggle your toes around. This is SO important.
Second of all don't dig them out. Let them grow (even though it is painful) and cut them straight across and then cut a small v in the tip. This will help them not to in-grow. Keep this up and they should go away.
Go barefoot as much as possible.
Anothing thing to consider is that this may be heriditary but that doesn't mean you can't do anything about it.
If they persist get yourself to a foot doctor.
There is a fairly simple solution. It doesn't make the problem go away in 5 min, but perhaps over a few days!
The nail affected needs to be filed as thin as possible from the front to the back. Don't hurt your skin at the nail's extremity! But file from the front to the back of the nail.
After you are finished with that, apply some soothing cream and keep the nail filed thin until the problem disappears.

Be careful that your shoes are not squeezing the toes together and thus attributes to the problem.
