adderall does not make one sleepy at all. it is a stimulant and brings you up. only after the drug wears off do you become tired. i imagine there could be different effects for other people, talk to your doctor about how you felt. normal and intended reaction should be up, not down, but still discuss this with the doc to find out for sure. it made me feel "normal", not high or different at all. i was suffering from fatigue and lack of motivation, it allowed me to get up and do normal activites that i had been incapible of doing. it helped with my depression tremendously, but my doctor is an idiot and doesnt listen to me and took me off of it. i stopped seeing him, because he tried drugs out on me without listening to how they made me feel, so i was left with drugs that were doing more bad than good and controdicting themselves.
