I had a tumor removed from the back of my leg/knee 3 weeks ago. I had 20 stitches and an 8 inch long incision. I am just starting to get around again. What are some good, low impact exercises? I want to be as strong as possible for my next appt so hopefully I can do without PT.
Answer:
I would start out walking and swimming. Swimming is probably the best exercise there is. It helps with burning fat, cardio and strenghtening muscles. It will help tone up your muscles without causing strain. In fact, they recommend it to overweight people who cant physcially handle other exercises.
