I have a scar on my arm can I tattoo over it?
Answer:
Sure! I've seen women that get tattoos over scars from mastectomies, and it looked fine. Just make sure that the tattoo artist has worked with scar tissue before.
A lot of people tattoo over scars. I dont know how good it will turn out.
Yea of course, i have a tatoo over a scar myself, its fine just make sure u talk to the artist about the scar beforehand
the older it is the less noticable itll be,it should be fine and less noticable with the tattoo over it,tho i suspect if all your skins scarred that might be a problem and how deep the scar is too
Pls don't get the tat. Check with a dermatologist about lasering the scar.
You'll be able to cover your scar with a tattoo
Not all tattoos can perfectly cover a scar, some can, some cant. It depends on the person and the artist. Vitamin E over time can help reduce a scars appearance, but it wont go away.
Honesty, it depends on the scar. Many scars can be worked around or covered up but some scars will not hold pigment. My brother has a scar that he has tattooed over several times and the ink fades out of the scar tissue fast every time.
Call around and find a tattoo artist that has worked with scar tissue before. They can often minimalize how visible it will be or incorporate it into a design that will make it less obvious.
The best way to find out is to check out some tattoo shops, ask the artists. Some don't like to tattoo over scars, and it would depend on how bad the scar is
I had a scar from my childhood. When I joined the Navy I decided to get a tattoo ( it had nothing to do with a female , if you believe that I have a bridge in brooklynd I want to sell lol) I DID NOT have a risen scar. My advise to you is to ask MANY local artists. If you think this scar will remain that is if this is a recent scar . Then you should wait . If this is an old scar ( more than four years then you should ask the artist if it will affect the appearance of the tatoo).
