My Uncle was bitten by something...?
However, after a couple days he said he squeezed puss and what appeared as small rice out of it. (I'm thinking maybe eggs of some sort.) This is the only reason for thinking it isn't a spider bite. Any ideas on what it could be?

No, it basically sounds like a brown recluse bite. I'm interested in why the potato? I can't for the life of me think of any good reason for a potato. make sure you clean it with hydrogen peroxide, and then treat with neosporin and band-aids, if it starts to get much worse, definately go to a doctor, but after the bite, there is really not much you can do.
what it good be is a really good reason to go to the emergency room, I can tell you that it definitely wasn't a brown recluse because it would have been much much worse
