Has anyone been to a orthapedic surgion?
Answer:
I do not know exactly what they will do but from my own personal experience the first one I saw for a ruptured disc sent me for a MRI and then immediately scheduled surgery to remove it. The next one I saw 10 years later for a herniated disc on the other side of my spine wanted to do test that required putting dye in my spine since I can not longer have MRI's due to a cochlear implant. I refused that test, the info I got from Web MD regarding that test frightened me so I just did everything I could do to 'baby' my herniated disc until it quit 'flaring' up. I have osteoarthritis in my spine and degenerative disc disease. I have to say it all depends on what he/she finds out and the severity of the herniated disc.
I've been. But it was for Scoliosis and I just got X-Rays.
