Help...curling iorn burn?
p.s. pharmacy is closed so don't sugest any products
Answer:
cold water is the best first aid when you burn yourself - 20 minutes under the tap is ideal. NEVER ice or vinegar or milk or butter or mustard or toothpaste or sunscreen or semen or vaseline or vanilla extract - not until it is fully healed!
cling wrap is also a good idea, it will protect the burn, reduce pain and reduce fluid loss. it is clean straight off the roll and if an ambulance picked you up in australia this is exactly what they would do - after they got rid of the ice and just used cold water

this is going to sound so silly but put it in a cold glass of milk. other than that there is nothing ou can do. Don't put any type of bandage on it you want it to air out. good luck
keep icing it and if you have oatmeal take a little bowl of oat meal and add water not to much just until it looks pasty put the oatmeal on the burn leave it on for about 15 20 min it will take the burning and stinging away until you can get to the pharmacy tomorrow
I put mustard on my serious burns. It seems to pull out the burn.
As long as the burn is not opened or blistered:
if you have some vanilla extract (yes from the kitchen for your cookies!) dab that on it and it will cool it temporarily. it won't last long, but it can be reapplied as often as possible. take some motrin/advil or tylenol for the pain.
