Help! I think I accendently to my dose of Wellbutrin (antidepressant) twice in the past hour?
Answer:
Most likely, no.
No not to much
i am not qualified so if you are worried, i would call your doctor! i dont know enough to tell you "dont worry youll be fine" or "woah you really need to get yourself to the hospital!" i would place a call to someone who knows exactly what to do...
-kimberly (try not to do that again =)
(they have those little pill (smtwtfs) boxes to prevent that i believe)
no nothing should happen, they try make antidepressents as kill free as possilbe because of manic or bipolar sufferers who have the tendancy to commit suicide. you'll probly just get a bit of a headache but you shouldnt have a problem.
If you are that worried ring up a poison information center.
Every children's hospital has one.
You should be happy not worried
If you haven't had a seizure yet, you'll be fine. That's the biggest risk with Wellbutrin and I doubt it's a delayed reaction. Doubling a dose of anything is rarely enough to cause serious damage, but it's still obviously a bad idea.
My best advice is to call a poison control center in your community. Also, your reaction to a drug's effect is kind of dependent on the maximum dose of the drug rather than on the amount you've taken. But call poison control to be sure.
If you are on a split dose or lower dose of 150mg a shot then it would just be like stepping it up to 300mg. If more than that, I think nothing bad would happen but if you wanna know what effects to expect, call a pharmacist and they will be happy to answer.
