I bit my tongue and it has been over an hour and it will not stop bleeding! Please help with tips! Thank you!?
Answer:
If you bit completely through it needs to be stitched .If not you need to put some ice in mouth on your tongue..Just spit out the fluids until it stops bleeding.
it really depends on how bad you bit it, if the laceration is in anyway even a little deep you need to head to the ER, otherwise, put some ice on it, but unfortunatley toungue bites are notoriously annoying, they usually take a few weeks to heal, and theres not much you can do to speed it up, just try to avoid it, as the swell and make it easier to re-bite
