Could this be migranes?
seems to help sitting in a dark room is this the right thing to do
Answer:
Yes it sounds like migraines. My 13 year old son has them,he is on quite a bit of different medication for them, migraleve etc.It took the hospital quiet a while to find out what was wrong with him.But you have the same symptons as him sorry to say.You should go your doctors to get checked out.Good luck.Btw that's the best thing to do wnen you have 1 go in a dark room.
It might be. You should see your doctor to be sure. Not only to verify but because there are medicines out there and he/she can help pick the best one for you.
I was 20 when I got my first migraine. They aren't fun.
Get to see an eye specialist. It could be the problem with your eyes. Most headaches are related with the eyes.
As a migrane suffer myself, yes it is. Have you ever vomited because of those handaches because if you have, like I have in the past, you might want to make an appointment with a doctor. The longer you wait to see a doctor the worse those migranes become. So do yourself a huge favor and don't wait too long.
yes it sounds like migraines. Having only just started with these myself after my gp changed my contraceptive pill,, my symptoms are the same. However, do get this checked out because it could be your eyesight which has worsened. If its like mine to do with medication, then you must stop the medication immediately and speak to your gp. Good luck!
very likely but it could also be sinus problems see your dr. for a proper diagnosis this could be a severe medical problem and you do notplay around with headaches
I personally am diagnosed with Chronic Migraines. All the symptoms you named hit it right on the head! However, you won't know for sure until you actually see a doctor! I sometimes get them for DAYS at a time. At first it's mild, but it eventually builds up to the white dots, blurry vision, sensitivity to light, etc...
When I first started getting them, my mother thought I was pregnant b/c of the nausea and vomiting. When the light sensitivity hit, I had a noise sensitivity moments later. I use to be curled up in a ball in my room, sheet over the windows and EVERYTHING turned off. The slightest HUM from the AC unit would be torture. In the USA 18% of women and 6% of men suffer from migraines.
Migraines occur most times with no "trigger" but some of the common ones are; Allergic reactions, Bright lights, loud noises, and certain odors or perfumes. Physical or emotional stress, Changes in sleep patterns, Smoking or exposure to smoke, Skipping meals, Alcohol or caffeine, Foods containing tyramine (red wine, aged cheese, smoked fish, chicken livers, figs, and some beans), monosodium glutamate (MSG), or nitrates (like bacon, hot dogs, and salami), and other foods such as chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, avocado, banana, citrus, onions, dairy products, and fermented or pickled foods.
If you have health insurance I recommend you find a Neurologist in your plan/area. If you don't have health insurance, go to the local hospital ER and ask for their staff neurologist. Even if it is "just" an eye problem, at least you'll know. Good Luck!
if it is you shouldnt be on the computor!!
