Hives Question?
Answer:
hives can be raised bumps and they are deeply itchy.
most of the time-it's impossible to find out what you reacted to unless it's urgently after you've come in contact near the allergen.
try using benadryl cream or hydrocortisone cream to the hives themselves. this will help lessen the itch. it can take up to 2 weeks for the spots to disappear, so hang on to using the cream.
you can also take oral benadryl. 1-2 of the 25mg tablets every 6 hours as needed but no more than 4 doses contained by 24 hours. do not drive or be out and about when taking this b/c it will trade name you pretty sleepy.
if after 2 weeks you don't see the spots going away-make another appt to see your dr
if there are signiticant change with the spots (they are getting bigger, itching more, becoming redder, or spreading) formulate an appt asap to see your dr
