Ear problem?

11 year old has been swimming alot and has a very bad ear ache what to do

Answer:
Take 'im to the doctor. It might be very mild, but the ear is sensitive, so don't try to fix it on your own.
Take the child to the ER cause I had a severe Ear Ache and finally went and they told me my ear drum was gonna rupture. So becareful!!
Buy swimming ear drops. They prob. have water in them. You can also buy ear wax plugs that they can wear in the water and keep the water from getting in, which should help.

All else fails, go see your doctor.
Don't mess with the ears. See a physician. Ear disease can lead to ruptured drums and long term problems.
It sounds like swimmer's ear (I get them easily). Since they are experiencing pain just take him/her to the doctor and they will give you some drops. To help prevent this in the future you might try ear drying drops that you can pick up at walmart or any drug store to dry the ears so water doesn't stay and cause the ears to ache.

Just to note, the warnings on the bottle for the drops say not to use the store bought drops if the person is experiencing any pain but to consult a doctor.
take them to the doctor as soon as possible
