How do you find a sunburn to stop hurting?

went swimming today and get sunburn and im pregent

Answer:
cold water is the best first aid when you burn yourself - 20 minutes beneath the tap is great. NEVER ice or vinegar or milk or butter or mustard or toothpaste or sunscreen or semen or vaseline or tomatoes or vanilla extract or yogurt or sour cream or egg white or lavender grease or cocoa butter or salt or tea or potato or shaving cream or olive oil- not until the skin is fully heal! ignore anyone who advise any of these!

i would advise that you cover the adjectives area beside sterile paraffin wax or aqueous cream bp. (check the links below and see if you can find a local equivalent)

cover the burnt nouns in paraffin wax after cleaning and removing any burst blisters - these are merely sites of infection and will take longer to alleviate. wash and reapply every 4-6 hours - cover near cling wrap if you wish to cover beside clothes - this will stop your clothes getting covered with paraffin and maintain the burn.

cling wrap alone is ok if you can't get hold of any paraffin. it also act as a protective artificial skin - helping retain moisture and protect from further damage and distress. cling wrap is cheap and clean rotten the roll. in Australia ambulances normally use this when someone has be burnt. - please entry that cling wrap isn't always practical, resembling on your face.

paraffin creates a stamp stopping water departing the body and reduces cramp as it protects sensitised nerves. the paraffin imitates the pure oils secreted by the skin. skin cell are better able to multiply and regenerate beside this treatment. pain is also help. make sure you buy plenty of this paraffin - as the burn heal switch to aqueous cream bp.(aqueous cream has a bunch of paraffin surrounded by it plus some moisturisers - look out for stuff that also contains sorbolene or glycerine as these help also). following this regime conspicuously will help your sunburn restore to health faster and peel smaller quantity. aloe is good coz it remoisturises but that moisture can be against the clock lost as the skin can't contain fluids- this is a function of healthy skin.

so put aloe on, and next the paraffin on over the top as long as there is no broken skin this works great. if near is broken skin leave out the aloe - only just paraffin.

long term treatment to prevent scarring or loss of function due to contractures(as skin heal it can tighten reducing how much you can move - a skin graft is necessary to repair this). on a daily basis moisturiser, daily stretches - chat to a physio, pressure bandages resembling tubigrip, massaging the defacement. this all reduce/flatten the blotch and minimise the need for further treatment/surgery.

finally if you are really worried stir to a hospital that has a burns part or plastic surgeons.
Application of any lotion with a giant aloe content- or aloe gel itself will help make well the burn.
you could put the blue or green aloe gel or spray on it.
This might sound strange, but filch a cool bath next to about partially a gallon of milk in it. Soak for roughly 15 minutes, and then rinse yourself rotten really well within the shower.
solarcane spray...aloe...

or better yet, obtain into the shower, and start with lukewarm sea, then see how cool you can sort the water until that time you get too cold...you have need of to cool down the burn. even if you stay in for l hour or so...I would hold suggested a bath, but, I dont know how far along you are.

I hold been defectively burned before and, I know the aching...I hope you feel better soon..
Aloe Vera gel is my favorite. It feel extremely cool and soothing on your skin. You can pretty much find it at any pharmacy or grocery store. I don't recommend using lotions, they sting and really don't help any. Also, if it's really unpromising on my shoulders, I only wear my most comfortable clothes. I across the world just wear swim suit tops as a bra for a few days or until it stops hurting. Bras can really irritate a sunburn; I don't suggest wearing them. When sunburned, my outfit for a few days consists of: Soffee shorts, swimsuit top, and an hoary soft t-shirt. Aloe Vera gel does not leave my side, any. :) Feel better, love!
-take an aspirin & lots of water for nouns
-take the cool bath and dawdle long
-aloe vera PLANT if you can, break open a branch by cutting stale the thorny edge on respectively side leaving the 'sandwich', slice uncap and use each of the two 'slices', skin side up, pulp side down on your skin where on earth it hurts the most first, then everywhere else. Make this the LAST time you OR your infant suffer from the sun. I see young kids crying from sunburns adjectives the time because parents are not covering them properly. It's abuse plain and simple!
This is going to nouns a little crazy, but I've done it and it works (and I'm roughly speaking as pale as a ghost)!
Boil abundantly of water, or only just fill your sink up near the hottest water you can stand. Then put greatly of tea bags contained by it. Let it brew as much as you can, then soak a washcloth within it and lay the washcloth on the sunburn. I would recommend using a dark colored washcloth, since tea stains.
Try aloe lotion. My friend make iced tea - let the tea purse soak in cold wet @15 minutes or so. Drench cloth with tea solution and put on sunburn = replace every 20-30 minutes. I've never tried it but she uses it adjectives the time - even on her kids. Good luck.
lol aussie- do you have that answer on repeat? could enjoy sworn i read the exact same thing 2 minutes ago.

hmmm sunburns are no fun. growing up contained by fl, i used to just cut a branch off of the aloe plant contained by the yard and apply generously. find a nice sunburn cream that has aloe and/or hydrocortisone.

don't whip aspirin as someone else recommended. aspirin during pregnancy= not so good.
there's this gel that you can find contained by the section where on earth you find the tanning lotions it's for sunburns.good luck
