eek.. dont filch any pills until you've seen a physiotherapist! They will know how to assess exactly whats causing the problem, it could be your posture and pills arent going to sustain with that. Hope you find the answer :)
Well stop kneeing yourself!
Go wager on to your GP and get a proper diagnosis.
Then establish what steps you can take to relieve the headache.
Traditional medicine or complimentary prescription.
Im a great believer in exercise, so try swimming, it will hang on to your knees active but wont put a strain on them
Take attention
Try taking glucosamine everyday. You can get it at any condition store and the pharmacy section at wmart. It really works after something like a week I could tell a BIG difference!
FYI:
Glucosamine builds and maintain cartilage, tendons and other connective tissues in the body by acting as a building block for these materials and inhibiting enzymes that verbs cartilage. When the body does not have an average supply of glucosamine, arthritis – most commonly osteoarthritis – can develop. This debilitating condition that afflicts millions of associates worldwide is characterized by a breakdown in the “shock absorbers” of the joint, particularly solidity bearing ones such as the hip or knees. Glucosamine works by preventing the cartilage destruction, joint twinge, swelling and loss of flexibility in a inbred way and short the harmful side effects that are associated beside NSAIDs or COX-2 drugs. Not to mention the fact that glucosamine is far cheaper (about a dollar a day) and derived from innate sources.
Its called Chondromalacia - co on forgiving.co.uk and check it out, i also have it
Walking on the "cobblestones" surrounding Central Park at a prompt clip a couple years back really did surrounded by both my knees - I should have crossed the street to hike on the 'normal' flat concrete sidewalks but didn't know any better.

It took almost exactly a year for my knees to recover to their middle-of-the-road function - didn't need any knee brace anymore. But, when planning on doing some unwieldy lifting or hauling, I do put both knee braces on only just to prevent another year long recovery spell.

Didn't take any meds or own any surgery - don't believe in any option - my 63 year matured body healed itself.
If nil else helps (maybe try omega 3 as okay as the other things suggested) try stopping having wheat for a couple of weeks and see if it improve. Remember wheat is in cake biscuits etc as well as bread
Go put a bet on to your GP and ask him/her if it's possible you have Osgood Schlaters disease. It's zilch to really worry something like you will grow out of it as your bones mature.
