I was offered this method of treatment for my acne but after reading through the information leaflets provided I had to compare the benefits with the downsides. I'd have to travel to the hospital each month to pick up my next months supply, the side effects listed were slightly concerning and I had to work out whether all of this was really worth it. I'd suffered from acne since I was 11 and was offered this treatment last year aged 19.
I decided not to undergo the treatment and now I'm pretty clear very rare I get outbreaks and the scarring seems to have reduced on its own. Not guaranteeing that it will for you but its something that needs looking at and you've got to decide what is best for you. There are certain bits of information regarding liver damage and also suicide reports from this drug. Its a thing thats down to personal choice but I'm glad I didn't take this drug
