HIP JOINT PAIN? (help please)?
About 2-3 weeks ago I threw my right leg up on the counter to make something in a cabinet, (like I've done a million times before)
Yes, I know I should own used a chair or stool...
Anyway, the unified inside of my hip popped. It has not be the same since afterwards. Its not a constant unbearable twinge, but it sure is uncomfortable when I move my leg a indubitable way very soon.Like getting in and out of the motor. I can no longer sit indian style. Or many other ways in a minute...
It has brought tears to my eyes a couple of times. (only when I move it a consistent way) But then ease up.
Does this sound decipherable to anyone?
Should give it a short time longer to get better?
I in recent times wonder if it could be more serious than I realize?
Answer:
Sounds like you might own sprained your hip, and the joint is very soon inflamed/irritated. (The audible “pop” and difficulty sitting with your legs crossed are push button signs). If that’s the case, your condition is musculoskeletal, and not “serious”, however, you do inevitability to get it check out by your doctor. You've given it a few weeks to remodel and it hasn't. If it continues it might begin to affecting your light of day to day function more and more. I’m guessing your physician will present you an anti-inflammatory medication and/or send you to physical psychiatric help. Until you get within and see them, try icing the your hip and taking Aleve, Ibuprophen, or Excedrin—something over the counter that will help next to both pain and inflammation.
I ponder you have strained a ligament. Only complete rest will support it .
Go get a rub from a therapist that know what they are doing. You might have a strain or perchance the hip joint have a sublaxation.( a dislocation that "pops" back within.). It will make like mad of normal moves rock-hard and some impossible. Talk to your doc and maybe go and get an x ray to be on the not detrimental side.
Peace
