HELP please!?

If you have an ear infection and you're planning on traveling on an airplane 3 days from it...will my ear drum burst? Is it secure to be on a plane with one?!

Answer:
Even if you get an ear infection the day since flying, the airplane will not do anything to your ears other than I don`t know pop them which is normal. Your ear drums will not burst due to your ear infecton, but I would recommend taking some advil (or doesn`t matter what brand you like) with you during the flight. You might capture a pressure headache from both the altitude and your ear infection. I hope you enjoy your trip where on earth are you going if you dont mind me asking? I am flying to Rome Italy in October beside my boyfriend it should be fun. I hope I helped you some.
Your ear drum will not burst. The holiday home is not pressurized that high. It is past the worst to be on a plane, but the increased pressure may make it discomfited to painful. If you own access to an advice nurse, send for that service. Otherwise call your doctor's department for advice.
it is not not dangerous to be on an airplane with an ear infection! my cousin have an ear infection and was on a plane to disney and the emergency relatives on the plane had to inform the pilot to land the plane so she could step to the emergency room and the doctors had to chop her ear rotten and go inside her eardrum and hand over her a new one!
