I need suggestion. only a week ago my tailbone be feeling really sore and be very self-conscious. I thought it was bizarre because that has happen to me before when I fell and I enjoy put in place by using my mitt and putting lots of pressue on it ..ouch! I tried doing this same thing and feel wet on my fingers, I looked surrounded by the mirror and saw that I was oozing puss! The puss that come out smelled awful and I couldnt figure out what it could be since i didnt enjoy a bump or anything. I decided to acquire on line the subsequent day when it begin to hurt MUCH worse and found large bump below my skin. I diagnosed myself with a Pilonidal cyst and figure I should go to the doctor. Before I made it to the doctor the dull pain increased 150% so I went to ER. My Doctor said it is not a Pilonidal cyst its a Buttock Abcess and priscribed antibiotics and Vicodin and said it will move about away on its own. There is NOTHING on line that give information on a Buttock Cyst. Has Any one else had this?
Answers: It is a CYST and we can take them anywhere, so ear cyst, nose cyst, buttock cyst. The standard term is sebaceous cyst. You are lucky i.e. 'burst'. Good Luck
Don't self diagnose.. Visit a doctor.. If possible have two doctors.. because they sometimes own different opinions.. The more diagnosis you own.. The more chance of finding the true humour of your condition.. Goodluck.. =)
