When using a wicker - should you hold the wicker on the side of the injured leg or on the different side ?

Should you move the cane first next your injured leg and last your fitting leg? I hate to recognize it but I am confused how to use it. Thanks for your help.

Answers:    You ALWAYS use the wicker on the opposite side from the injury. If you use it on alike you can develop further problems in the muscles within your upper body from doing this. I had a client that be using it on the same side and she come in beside pain contained by her shoulder and neck, not even for her disability. so, the first time i saw her I told her to use the wicker on the other side, and with doing that and a few pat treatments she came to me for, she wasn't experiencing the shoulder/neck backache anymore.

And you always move the rattan and the leg together. It gives you MUCH more stability...smaller quantity chance of you falling. and spawn sure that someone who knows what they're doing sets it up for you correctly, ie. that it's the right echelon and the right type of cane for what you involve.
You should have the rattan on the opposite side of the injured leg and move the wicker forward at the same time as the injured member.
