I agree that odds are it is a different brand BUT anytime any medication looks different than you've had in the past, you should check it out. Simply call the pharmacy where you had it filled, or any local one, ask to talk to the pharmacist and have them look it up. They will be able to tell you exactly what it is and then you will know for certain. I would definately confirm what it is, and the strength before you take it.
And to the person who said you were lucky, trust me it depends on your pain. I have severe nerve damage. I took Oxycodone and M & M's would have been better since I could have enjoyed the chocolate. They did nothing for the pain. Those in pain are lucky when we find a medication that provides some relief. Of course when taken properly for real pain, there is none of that euphoria some get with this drug. Then again, if they took it w/out pain, sure they did go through hell stopping. Sorry, just had to mention that.

It is just a different brand. Each company that makes oxycodone puts there own stuff on the tablets. Just like each company that makes tylenol aka acetominophen puts their own stuff on their tablets.
you are so lucky to have oxycoden in your home. not lucky that you are in all that pain...but oxycoden is the best...life was so good when I was on oxycoden.. then life was not good when I could get no more and had withdrawels.
ummmm.there is no whatever when it comes to percocet or oxycodone. If you have been prescribed this medication you should have no worries. If you have obtained this illegally have fun figuring it out.silly goose.
Go to Drugs.com and you will find a full description of all of the percocets and forms of oxycodone that is made. Enter the info. on bottle (EXACT NAME OF MED. as written on your bottle) and the shape, color, and all numbers and letters that are on the pills and it will tell you exactly what it is
