Im getting a ct scan and worried the shot they will inject barium will hurt? will it hurt? pls give support to!?

I mull over you can ask for the Nurse to dap some numbing creme on the spot first. But be tough, if you have to own a CT scan, maybe you should be thinking give or take a few wot they might be looking for and focusing your positive energies on that instead of worring about one small injection hmmmm.

they impart i dye to look closely they do it in a IV tube doesnt hurt that desperate but im 16 and i have a soaring tolerance for pian due to my own medical crap i deal wiith but it will be ok i promise
They won't inject the barium, that's the stuff you own to drink before your trial. It shouldn't hurt to get injected though. They only just insert a needle similar to when starting an iv and that should be the end of the spasm. If you drink a lot of hose the day up to that time and up until your ct then finding a artery will be easier and they will only hold to stick you once. Usually they will use the vein on the inside of your elbow but they could use one within your hand of wrist also. The contrast they inject will take home you feel heat up all over and make a contribution you a metallic taste within your mouth. It's done every day, over and over. It's nil to worry in the order of. If you have any question I'm sure they will be happy to answer them for you.
