Random shooting chest pains?
Answer:
These are more likely to be caused by you worrying about them, or something. In other words-stress.But it is always a wise idea if your not sure to get pains checked out. It doesn't sound like a heart problem. Good Luck!
beleive it or not ive went as far as going to the doctor for the same reason and he told me it was gas. but you should definitely go and get checked out
Regardless of your age, what you describe are symptoms of a heart attack. Don't panic though. It could be something else. The best thing you can do is speak to your physician about these symptoms. Make an appointment as soon as possible and don't cancel it!
I have these random pains, sometimes it feels like needles poking at me. The heart doctor said there is no problem, and my family doctor made me have the blood test, and still say no problem. Maybe it's normal. Hopefully it's not early heart attack. Otherwise I would have heart attack symptoms since I was a teenager.
ANYTIME you have pains in your chest you need to go to an ER immediately. That is the only way that a heart attack can be ruled out. They need to do an EKG and draw blood for Cardiac Enzymes (an enzyme that the heart muscle releases into the blood stream when there has been muscle damage)
It's very possible that it is something else but you don't want to mess around with chest pain. Get checked out.
