How would you know if you had brain cancer?
Answer:
if a tumor was in your brain, you may experience headaches, changes in mood, difficulty with speech (slurred, unable to say what you want to say), vision disturbances, motor control problems, nausea. The only way to be sure is for your doctor to run tests. Sometimes an x-ray or a CT scan can see tumors, but the best test is usually MRI. Talk to your doctor about your fears, and he could better tell you what to watch for.
changes in mood, personality. memory and balance problems. difficulties with cognition and speech.possible headaches
You probably wouldn't know till they did a MRI. Are they doing anything for the other cancers. Chemo??
My wife first found her brain tumors due to double vision, swallowing trouble, tongue quit working correctly. Brain scans confirmed it. She died about 14 months later.
Get regular scans and good luck.
Shell B has a really good answer. When my husbands cancer was discovered in his brain he had severe headaches. The second time he could not function at all. He lost control of the right side of hs body, could not speak, walk, did not know what anything was. It all depends on where the tumor is in the brain as to what effect it will have. If you think anything is wrong go to your doctor. My husband put off going to the doctor the firs time for a while and he isn't here anymore.
