yes it is normal to get frequent yeast infections while taking an antibiotic especially on a regular basis. talk to your dr about prescibing you diflucan to take when it starts. Alot of doctors prescribe a few diflucans to take with antibiotics. i work in a pharmacy and see alot of prescriptions of antibiotics that also include diflucan. it works great and if u get a low dose your may be able to take it on more of a regular basis to possibly prevent them. just ask your doctor what the best dose for you is.
You need to drink lots of water and eat yogurt with active yeast cultures. This helps prevent the yeast infections you can get from taking antibiotics.

Yes it's very common. As long as you continue taking the antibiotic it makes you more likely to get a yeast infection. Try drinking lots of water, cranberry juice, or beer (but not a lot lol). Also try eating yogurt.
