Unprotected sex or the pill?
I took my last pill yesterday and then started getting a bit of blood in my discharge again.
Do you think this is all due to having un-protected sex and i might of caught at STD, or could it just be because i missed one of my pills? (i've never, ever miss one before!)
Answer:
You know what - I can't believe the number of sanctimonious, judgemental idiots that have answered your question. Have none of you ever made a mistake?! I'm sure this poor girl KNOWS the consequences of having unprotected sex without you lot up there on your high horses throwing in your tuppence worth! The question was not "Please make a judgement on my sex life?", was it?!
To answer the question - the bleeding could be purely down to your cycle being a bit messed up because of the missed pills, or also maybe some damage after rough sex. It might not be a bad idea to have tests done for STIs if only to put your mind at rest.
Don't beat yourself up about one mistake, just do what it takes to make sure you're okay from now on :)
Should have used a condom. £2.27 for 3 from superdrug.
unprotected sex
Well I don't think you would be pregnant but you could well have an STD.
Go get it checked out & use a condom next time!
missed pill probably messed your cycle up
o ya pills can't protect from std only condom could
silly, silly girl. you deserve all you get for not taking responsability. if you are old enough to have sex then you are old enough to take responsability for it. no-one else is to blame but yourself if you have an std or are pregnant. no sympathy.
congratulation you are stupid and maybe pregnant hope it a boy.
havin an sti wont have caused you to come on a period. by missin the pill youve told your body thats its time for your period dont forget your womb cant count how many tablets youve taken its all about hormones. still this dont mean that you havent caught an sti so go to family planning asap coz if you have caught something you need to catch it straight away. you dont want to pass it on and some can stop you from havin children. dont do it again!
There's a chance you have a std even if it's nothing to do with the blood in your discharge.
A lot of the time they don't show any symptoms. You'll need the get checked out and next time use a condom.
Pills are hormones and your body regulates your cycle by what hormones are in your system. Missing one "might have" tricked your body into thinking it was time to start. It doesn't sound like any STD that I know of. Unprotected sex is bad, bad, bad, and did I mention very bad. Take care of yourself!!! Even in the heat of passion. Your life should mean more to you than sex.
having unprotected sex is bad but i dont think you caught std i think its just the inpact of rough sex on the insides of your vergina the blood tell that story you need to be carefull about things like that it can damage you in the way that youmay never have kids or you get pregnant and you cant carry the child a full turm always protect your self weather you know the person or not dont hate your self protect your self you dont wanna be the one every one talks about in that manner respect your self love your self haveing sex is great but haveing sex saftly is the best sex you will endure because you hade great sex and nothing to worry about and in case you going out on a limb always carry your own condoms trust no one with your life but god..be good to your self girl...be safe.
Yeah, it could definitely be the pill, but wow only one? O.o I forgot to take one 3 times in a row and had a 23 day long period!
But blood in discharge? You should be careful about that. It only happens if he's rough or you caught something, like vagionosis / PID O.o
girl, you aren't ever suppose to have unprotected sex unless tryin to make a child when married. it doesn't matter if you are on the pill or not. the pill wont keep you frm gettin herpes, genital warts, aids and more. you really should have did your research before havin sex at all. you need to go get checked out asap
You should see a doctor, not ask the world on yahoo questions. The blood is most likely from the rough sex. The pill is a good idea, start taking that on a regular basis. However, only a condom can help protect from STDs. Please be safe and get yourself checked.
Either way you're supposed to use a condom.
not taking the pill could have messed your cycle up or you probably just started bleeding due to the first bleeding...go get tested and practice safe sex next time
LOL, C'mon... you are risking your health. what happens if you get tested and find out you were hiv positive? u will feel stupid because you didn't make him wear protection. make sure every man wear a condom next time... love yourself...
I think you should see the doctor so he can explain what's going on. Sometimes you can get spotting if you miss a pill, but I don't think you should have come on if it wasn't the right time!
I used to have 'mid cycle bleeding' when I took the pill which was in the middle of my cycle. But it got worse and I went to see the doctor and ended being diagnosed with endometriosis (this is not sexually transmitted, some people just have it). I also have irregular bleeding and pain/ bleeding after sex. It can also cause painful periods and abdominal pain, and in some cases can make it harder to conceive. It can be treated with a laser (but can come back), or managed by hormonal drugs.
So please see the doctor, who can help you. I'm not saying it is that but any abnormal bleeding needs to be checked out, as it could also be polycystic ovaries, PID, or an infection. Then again, it may just be the sex was rough, and you are ok! But you need to find out to be able to help yourself.
Good luck, I hope everything goes OK.
you probably started your period because you skipped the pill. That is odd though. An STD wouldn't cause that. If you continue to have abnormal periods you should go to the doctor. Rough sex can really be painful you should really tell the person to be gentle because it can hurt, however damage from the sex wouldn't cause bleeding fo five days as i'm sure you would know.
P.S. don't listen to the rude answers hun. just be a little bit more careful next time so that you don't get hurt! :)
