Ring worm?
Answer:
use a q-tip and dab it in bleach not much though and it will get rid of it.
Take him to the doctor to see if it's really ring worm, and they can give you cream to put on it. This one kid I knew at school got it every year around the same time, and you get cream for it. It stinks something fierce, but it should do the trick.
take him to the doctor, they should give him an antibiotic that'll dry it up and make it go away! i once had a ring worm on my thigh that was HUGE, and it was a perfect circle, kinda like a bullseye...anywho, my doctor gave me some ointment, used it for about a week and it was all better! it makes me itch just thinking about it! good luck
Ringworm is actually a fungus very much the same as athletes foot. Any over the counter athletes foot cream used as directed should do the trick.
They say vitamin e works. I've never tried it myself. Being its on a year old, I hate to advise what works for me. I use a wire brush, scrub the ring and pour bleach over it. Stings like crap. Used motor oil worked before for me also. They also claim that acetone works but I would again say with a 3 year old your are better off with a doctor. Good old sunshine cures it from the barn animals. Of all the remedies I suggested, I would try vitamin e oil for several days. Buy the oil with the highest IU's
The bleach previously mentioned works, the athlete's foot creams normally don't. Do see the doctor though, we treated my son's ring worm for over a month to no avail only to find out it wasn't ring worm at all, he'd gotten flea bites from a neighbors dog and they just happen to be in a circle so it resembled ring worm.
When I was a kid my Mother used a product called Ginsen Violet on our ring worm. My brother's and I were a bunch of outdoor kids and got it pretty frequently. Mom painted the ginsen violet in a circle and all over the ring worm. It worked and it didn't hurt or anything, although it would stain our clothes if we got it on them before it dried. I don't know if Ginsen Violet is still available, but you could go to the drug store and ask the Pharmacist. Good luck!
If you can get gentian violet at your pharmacy, that can help. It stains (it's used as a lab stain), but it will do the job.
use bleach on it i had the same thind bleach works really good
