Do vaccines do more harm than good?

In my family no one immunizes! They are not safe and the side effects far outweigh any supposed benefits. I am 37 and was never immunized. I had as a child measles, mumps, chicken pox, whooping cough all of which were caught from people who were immunized. my siblings and I all survived these illnesses without any problem. We were not rushed to a doctor it was all taken care of at home. To the people who say its selfish or that were putting thier kids at risk. I ask this question, If you are so sure immunization is safe, wonderful and effective in keeping your child from getting these illnesses why would you care if My kids arent. If the immunization actually worked your kids wont get it right?? I encourage all people to do research on immunization and its dangers. If your going to make a choice for your childs health PLEASE make it an educated choice!!
Never,vaccines are never new reserch rather used since long time in our society,emagine if some diseases having no treatment then if that one is communicable then how it spreding is blocked by nature ,that is natures vaccination,only a few complication vaccines are safe and good for humanity.
Parents who don't vacinate their kids are selfish and have no regard for the larger health of the community. Let them waste their time running to the doctor in the years to come when their kid has a fever worrying if they have measles, mumps or whatever.
I do not currently vaccinate my children for several reasons, mostly being religious. I do not consider myself irresponsible or selfish. I actually raise my children in an extremely health environment (you wont see my children eating trans fat, high fructose corn syrup or other crap most parents peddle their kids>)
I think vaccinations should be a private family matter and everyoen should BUTT OUT! (This is basicaly my response to the person who called us irresponsible, not the asker, I appreciate your posting that article and bringing it up!! More power to you!!) There is a reason no one can MAKE U get shots, its YOUR child and YOUR decision. I did my research, made my decision and I feel God will protect my child. The ONLY vaccination I will currently consider is the Dtap or whatever, the one with the whooping cough. The MMR vaccine isnt even given until after 12 mos which is stupid bc after 12 mos, most children (if u breastfeed like you're supposed to!!) will have the immunity to get through any common illness. Vaccines are still very new and I do not trust the medical system or the pharmacueutical companies who make them. My son had no shots and did not go to the doc for a sick visit until 18 mos old!! I never ran tot he doc and he had no illnesses other than 2 winter colds in 2 years. He stays home with me instead of a germ infested daycare and I take very good care of his health. I am pregnant again and the baby will not receive any shots other than possible the whooping cough and that is only bc we have a huge influx of immigrants in our area bringing illness in and the baby is due in the winter.
I think its rude and hateful to say parents are selfish for wantting to make their own decisions about their child!! If my son gets sick, I will take responsibility for it and he will seek medical help. Im not going to intentionally put a disease (dead or not) in him and risk all the side effects. THe risks outweight the benefits in my opinion.

And I see nothign WRONG with vaccines, I think it's fine if parents want to do them, i just choose not to. And I respect the parents who avoid them for risks of autism. It may not be proven but I'd certainly consider it.
Some ppl also oppose vaccines for the way they are made. Last I heard the chicken pox vaccine was made from aborted fetuses. This may not be true anymore, but I do have issue with how some of the meds are made.
And I do not run to the doc, if my son gets the measles, he'll get through like previous generations did. And the chicken pox or flu vaccine? Or rotovirus?? Come on ppl, get a grip!! ANd the HPV vaccine!! NO FREAKIN WAY is my daughter getting that! What the heck happened to teaching girls to not have freakin sex at 12? What happened to morals and ethics?? I will raise my childre the best I can and to teach them premarital sex is wrong. If they make that mistake and get HPV, then that is there choice. I'm not giving her the green light to have random sex! (and the HPV virus only protects against SOME of the ways you can get cervical cancer. U can still get cervical cancer and have the vaccine!!)
