Is anybody here Diabetic?

I think that I may be diabetic, I will find out for sure subsequent week.

Im just wondering how it affects your on a daily basis lives?

Will I still be able to play rugby?
Is it undemanding to control?

Answer:
I was diagnosed as type 2 almost a year ago and it have actually changed my existence for the better! I am healthier very soon than I have ever be. I eat right, exercise and unanimously take thought of myself better.
You have to be really mindful of your diet at first and it takes time to swot up what you need for a variety of levels of movement, but as you adjust it becomes second temperament.an extra sandwich before you play rugby, possibly doing a blood test at partially time, and you will soon be controlling your levels. Its acceptably easy if you are type 2... sometimes not so natural for type 1.
Their are two types, Type I and Type II.

Type I requires that you check your blood sugar several times a day and self inject insulin. You own to plan your meals and do calculation to figure out the amount of insulin required. Depending on your age, an insulin pump may be used instead of the self injection.

Type II can sometimes be held underneath control just by diet and exercise. If that alone does not work, a pill can be taken once a daylight. With either type, you could still play rugby.
It is a discomfort in the *rse if you own to take your drug by needle. the other type is only a pill which isnt so bad
My father is a diabetic, and adjectives he has to do is check his blood sugar within the morning, he checks it before and after he eat lunch, and once at night. He writes these down surrounded by a little chartbook which his doctors looks over when he go in.

All he have to do is eat on top form, sugar-free foods (Though sometimes he needs sugar to bring his blood sugar up), drink seriously of water and guzzle often.

You will know how to continue to play Rugby freshly as long as you control your blood sugar and as long as it hasn't damaged your eyes (Which is rare).

Diabetes is confidently controlled if caught early. :)

Good luck!
I'm type 1 for 10 years, and for me it's a moderate inconvenience. I'm on the pump, so I just deal near needles every few days. Other than that, I don't have to verbs about the meds self ineffective, or side effects of the meds. Activities are not limited at adjectives, as long as your sugar remains in control. As a issue of fact, the more involved you are, the more likely it is that you might be capable of just monitor your diet and excercise and not take any meds. Type 1 is easier to control because it's merely a matter of taking the correct amount of insulin when needed, as compared to adjust oral meds, and worrying about going on shots following in enthusiasm.

All in adjectives, I hate the disease, but at the stage I'm at immediately, it's more of a moderate nuisance than a huge burden.
I am type 1 since 1990, Its not trouble-free to control. If I barely devour anything my sugars stay good. but let face it everybody desires something sweet sometimes, so its an up and down battle. I enjoy neropothy on my right side very tight with numbness and tingling, I really hope u are not. It is life span changing. I am up every 2 hrs every hours of darkness, sometimes u lay there and ur up adjectives night because ur legs hurt u. U enjoy to eat at infallible times of the day. u other have to take sugar on u in baggage u go low. Yes u will know how to play rugby. Hope this helps well brought-up luck.
my mom is.
a sign you might be is that you have to budge to the bathroom a lot more recurrently then usuall.
I own been type 1 since I be 2 years old. I other played all the sports etc I needed to. I just checked my sugar earlier and had an extra snack. If it be something where I would be super live sometimes I would check my sugar half course through too.

I think everyone go through periods when it's tougher to control, but as a rule it's because you are not sticking to the diet. of course malady, stress etc can play a part within high sugars too.

I won;t permit it rule my life. Maybe it's a bit easier for me because I hold never known anything save for being on insulin, but even though it's not a wonderful entity to have at hand are many worse things.

I'm praying you won;t be diabetic, but if you are if you work at it duration really does not have to transmute too much once you get into the topical ruteen.
