Can i be in big trouble?
Answer:
Don't panic,no need to cry.If 2 days pass by you only have sharp pains sometime and no other symptoms seems to me you do not have skull fracture(indent).Trust the ER doctor.skull fracture is very series head trauma and must has histry of head injury.the impact must be very big and you must has histry of lose consernes and with concussion internal bleeding symptoms;sever headache, nauseous vomiting, etc.If all those symptoms you don't have you have no skull fx.then treat the cyst.
Pain isn't normal. If your doctor won't tell you what, EXACTLY, is wrong, or won't answer your questions, find a new doctor! It may be serious, or it may not, but doctors need to take time to answer their patients' questions.
Did the doctor run any kind of tests on you? Did you have a blood test? Or an MRI? My point is that I don't know how you could be diagnosed with a cyst if no tests wee done. Also, there should've been a recommendation on what to do about the cyst. I don't want you to flip out, but I really think that you should see another doctor. If you have a general practitioner that you go to, talk to him/her about this rather than dealing with an ER doctor. They usually would rather not deal with people and have a tendency of mis-diagnosing people.
Could be you're just having migraine headaches. Instead of going to ER, look in your yellow pages under Physicians and make an appointment to see a general practioner. You can get a complete check up. If you don't have insurance, it's probably best for you to spend a few dollars to find some answers and relieve your anxiety.
Going to an emergency room for other than an emergent problem is fruitless. You need to see your primary care provider and have your self examined thoroughly. Stop stressing yourself - that will add to your pain and make things seem worse when maybe they are not. Stress can cause headaches that may NOT indicate any inherent problem.
Good luck
