What are these red bumps?!?

I have been getting these little red bumps on my hands for 3 months now. They usually disapear by the end of the day, if not in a couple days. They appear between my fingers, on mostly on the palm side of my hand. They are slightly painful, not itchy. My husband had them as welll for a couple weeks, but they seem to be gone. Not mine! What are these? I just don't have time to see a physician, and it seems silly to go to a walk in for this. *I should mention that my daughter had hand foot and mouth disease a couple months ago. But hers lasted one week, and the doctor says that's the length of the virus. I've had these bumps since early May!

Answer:
A couple of possibilities:

1. Scabies
2. contact dermatitis.
3. Virus.

See a doctor and especially a dermatologist. Anything that persists longer than 2 weeks needs evaluated, especially with your daughter's recent health issues, even though her disease is usually a childhood one and not an adult one. Have someone at the docs take a culture of one of the red bumps and send it to the lap so you don't get jerked around with "possible" diagnosis and ineffective treatment.

I hope it is just skin irritation to something you are using on your hands or a food and nothing serious.

Hope you feel better soon.
even before i got to the part where you wrote about the hand foot and mouth, i was thinking that that's what it was. maybe it is hand foot and mouth, and it keeps coming back because you haven't been treated for it.
Rashes can be caused by insect bites like mosquito bites, heat or allergic reactions.Aloe vera gel , apple cider vinegar or vitamin E oil can be effectively used on the affected skin. More cheap and natural remedies for itching at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/itching.html...
