Can humans be effected by cats with feline herpes?

Both of my cats have feline herpes and when their nervous systems are stressed they exhibit strong cold symptoms. Is there anyway this han effect my health?

Answer:
There is no way their disease can spread to humans, so you have nothing to worry about there. I'm sorry about your cats though!
animals and humans have differant immune systems, i would say no, but i would ask your dr. or a vet
No, my cat has Feline HIV and I immediatly asked the vet if I could get it and they said it is not possible for humans to contract any of the animals diseases (they can have AIDS, cancer, herpes) ect.so rest assured you are fine, but call your vet to double check
