Does Cinnamon help control blood sugar?
Answer:
It may work for some then again everyone's different what works for you or me may not work for others.
apparently some researchers found that powdered cinnamon has a watersoluble compound that works well with natural insulin. they found that giving people a half teaspoon a day had good effects on blood sugar regulation. however these tests arent done on enough of society to state that a cure has been found for diabetes.
I recently went to a diabetics workshop for nutrition etc. and they said the same as the other person who answered. There is research that claims that cinnamon is good for controlling blood levels. Yesterday I purchased some cinnamon bark tablets from health food store. Figure it wouldn't hurt. Want to see if it does work.
It could help somewhat only if you are T2. For some reason, it does nothing to help us T1s though.
I am a type 1 and cinnamon does not help with the blood sugar, but I do like the taste.
Hi, in accordance to one of my relatives, it works very well on his wfie and he learned it from a website in internet.
For myself, I check my blood sugar regularly. Be very careful on the food that I am taking daily, especially for sugar, rice and noodles. Other than that I consistently take doctor's prescribed medicines and health supplement for achieving optimal health of myself. Recently the health screening result also proved that my health maintaining programme is working very well.

I have read that its supposed to help alot, but it really has done nothing for me. I have tried a few times using different amounts of cinnamon and it didnt make any difference.
Most studies I have read about this and experiences from other diabetics don't seem to confirm this. Below is a link where you can read more about some of these experiences:
