What are those whitish solid particles in my tonsils and pretty odorous when smelled?
Answer:
No, don't panic.unless your throat is sore, you are probably not sick at all.
You probably have 'Tonsil Stones'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/tonsillolit...
I used to get them when I was a kid.I don't know why I stopped getting them. They are pretty gross, but, nothing to worry about.
I recommend gargling with salt water to get rid of them.
Good luck! ;)
You have tonsillitus and/or strepp throat.
See a doctor immediately and he'll give you penecillin or what not.
Good luck!
ADDED: They are hardened puss and bacteria.
ADDED: lol, you people are funny. Seriously, I used to get them quite often and then I eventually had my tonsils taken out. What you are describing, no matter how normal these people are trying to make it, isn't "normal". Everyone gets them once in a while, but if they haven't gone away after 3 days to a week I would DEFINATELY go and see the doctor. Sure, it's not as big of an issue as other things, but who wants smelly white particles covering their tonsils? Obviously the people who gave me a downward thumb don't know what they're talking about...
But whatever. It's ultimately your choice.
It could be any number of things from tonsil stones, bacterial infection (possibly strep but not definitely) or just symptoms of a viral infection. If your throat hurts then go get seen by a doctor they will give you antibiotics if they think its a bacterial infection. If it doesn't hurt then just trying gargling salt water and try using some mouth wash.
Also dont ignore it if it hurts, if you do have a sore throat make sure your seen it is possible that it could be strep throat which if left untreated can lead to heart damage.
those are small pieces of hell. er... heck!
