I worked in a mycology laboratory (mycology=fungus) and none of them really smelled at adjectives, really. Not as a culture on an agar plate, anyway.
There are certain bacterial cultures that smelled awful, though.
If you donate a cup of tea alone for about a week or two, it will be the second worst smelling scent. The first is that of MILK departed alone for about a week or two.
