Do your heels get cracked in the summer time, if so, what do you use on your feet to help heal them?
Answer:
What I do when my feet get dry is put lotion on them before I got to bed and then put socks on. I know it is not the most comfortable. After a few nights of this your feet will be soft and brand new again!
Look for the product called Bag Balm. Its actually used on cows to help with chapping, and also works well on human skin.. there is no side affects, and its completly safe.
before bed time put a non greasy lotion such as lubriderm, or aquaphor(ointment made by euciren) then cover your feet while you sleep. after about 1 week you should see a difference.
I have more of a problem with dry cracked feet in the winter than I do in the summer, but in the summer I go bare foot a lot ... (country girl in me I guess) ... I like to use a good pumice stone in the bath... the others all had good suggestions about what to apply , the bag balm is a really good product. Dr. Scholls also has a great line of products just for foot repair and they offer the little footie's as well... the are really thin and more comfortable than you might think. My problem is getting into the routine... you know you get busy... doing daily chores and and what not and just don't do it.
