Do i have heat rash?

There is a red rash seems to be on my under arm
theres no bumps or anything just the rash
what can i use to clear it up or can i use mometasone furoate cream (elocom cream )as it is in a difficult area with me using nivea deodorant

Answer:
you can use the cream it is a rash but it just depends on what kind you have it on your underarm its probably from your deoderant . you should stop using that kind and then see what happens then. if it doesnt go away then it must be a rash
put baby powder in the area
are you sure it not allergies... well, u should use Benadryl
If it "burns" when your skin rubs against it- it's Heat Rash, alright! The "trick" IS- to keep the area DRY- until it clears up. I use plain- old Johnson's Baby powder. It "cools", dries & works great if you put it on after your shower or get out of the pool- or whatever. It smells nice too..!
wash the area and use corn starch, baby powder.

if the area is irritated wipe the area with a tucks wipe.(yes i know its not what they are made for. but it works.)
A heat rash occurs when excessive sweating occurs, skin pores subsequently get clogged, and the skin over heats. It is characterized by the appearance of a cluster of red pimples with red skin surrounding them. Small blisters may also be present. The rash is often very itchy, prickly or may sting and burn quite significantly. The areas of the skin most often affected include the upper chest and neck, back, groin, under the breasts, and in skin creases or skin fold areas such as elbow and knee regions.

Heat rash treatments are generally quite basic and include cooling the skin and body and keeping the affected skin areas dry. Cool showers and light loose fitting clothing will help. In addition, staying out of the sun would also be a good idea. Seeking an air-conditioned environment is beneficial. In many cases, the prickly rash will disappear on its own in a short amount of time, if the basic advice given above is followed. Calamine lotion can soothe the itch, but avoid any oil-based products because these may lead to additional skin pore clogging and prevent the heat rash healing process from occurring.
