Yeah you can, my brother does. But, you really have to lean down over to your toes and bite. but, at the immensely least, WASH YOUR FEET beforehand you do this, even though the best method of action is to completely STOP. ;]

i used to bite my toe nail but it leaves nasty infections looks gross and is err gross i vote dont do it
