My father who is 84 have kidney disease have be advise to start dialysis?

If he chooses not go start dialysis, what is his standard prognosis? How long will he live and how will he likely die?

Answer:
My sister have a kidney disease as well call Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis or FSGS. Now she has have a kidney transplant, but before that become an option she have been on dialysis for a few weeks. Really the prognosis depends on the type of kidney disease he have, and how advanced it is. Some people can live for an amazing amount of time long-gone what the doctors give them, and some step much faster. There are too many adjustable factors for me to bestow you a more accurate time frame. Your father should discuss these options next to his doctor if he is concerned. Best of luck!
He's already well beyond the average men's mortality rate, which is currently around 75. Still, if he's fine, he should undergo dialysis. If not, he will surely die from this kidney problem. No one can predict exactly how long he will live, beside or without dialysis, not even his doctor, but it WILL prolong his enthusiasm if he undergoes the treatment. It doesn't hurt, by the process.
It is a hard send for. It would not take long past renal failure - could only just be weeks. But he is 84 and it should be his decision. Dialysis is not smooth. It does not make you have a feeling better. It is a temporary fix. My grandmother, who be in her 70's refuse dialysis and was gone inside weeks. Again, let it be his result.
It would not be good not to be in motion. Dialysis cleans out his blood of toxins . Should feel better after a treatment .
There is no means of access to tell. Doctors can endow with their "prognosis" or "opinion" all light of day long, but every person is different. Some family can fight and win and others merely can't. It's personal choice at his age if he wants to do dialysis or newly spend the rest of his life as comfortable as he can be.
