Heart attack of muscle spasm?
Answer:
Most likely it was a muscle cramp. Did you have any other symptoms like shooting pain to your left arm and jaw? Severe sweating? You are too young for a heart attack. Are you feeling normal and fine now? Red meat by itself does not cause heart attacks. There are millions of people who eat junk and never get heart disease. If you are really worried though, you can go to the emergency room and have them test for cardiac enzymes (its too late for EKG-only works in the 1st 6 hrs). But with all honesty I truly doubt it.
people can get heart attacks At any age. you are not being a hypochondriac. I recommend you see your medical doctor as soon as possible. You want to make sure that it is not a heart problem. It could be just a pulled muscle that often happens and people think they are having a heart attack. But you must eliminate any possibilities of heart problems by seeing your medical doctor.
Sounds like a muscle spasm...but you need to cut down on the red meat...a lifetime of it will kill you for sure.
You seem to know the answer to your problem.
Red meat is heavier to digest and can create acidity and bile aggravation.
Cramps in calves or any muscle is a sign of bad digestion; mineral imbalance and suspended acidity (refer Ayurveda: holistic health care)
Try through detoxification by fasting on warm (as warm as yu can) water for 24 to 48 hours till your intestines has relaxed and thrown out stuff. Take a mild purgative first and no food for the time period.
You should feel lighter and better.
But
If the problem persists... don't hesitate to see a good doctor who can evaluate your whole health parameters, and not only your heart.
It could be indigestion or a muscle cramp. Heart attacks can happen at any age, but given your age are unlikely for you. If the problem reoccurs or other symptoms appear (shortness of breath, etc.) make an appointment with your primary care doctor and get it checked out.
