Has anyone ever used the acne medication: Accutane?
I was wondering:
1. Have you tried it?
2. Did it work?
3. Were you worried roughly side effects?
4. Did you have side effects, and what be they?
5. Would you reccommend it to friends/family?
6. If you had to, would you whip it again?

My son was put within it when he was 14.
It help but not very much.
The side effects are horrendous, it wreaked his delirium (he had to receive glasses), and you have to stay cool ( burns easily and for your eyes).
They required to put my youngest son on it and I said "NO"!! I would not let any of children ever purloin it again.
And it is very expensive, roughly speaking $140 CDN / month.
my son took accutane for two years. It did indeed clear up his cystic acne. But it also damaged his liver, he can no longer use Tylenol or drink alcohol as it cause considerable pain. He uses Ibuprofen and doesn't drink and otherwise is clean. So some think the side effects are worth it to be rid of the acne, some don't. Choice is yours.
