Genital wart?

i have just this minute had my first smear question paper, which came posterior slightly abnormal, 3 months then i then go for a colposcopy, i was told that i have internal gential warts, and that they would clear themselves surrounded by time. however shortly after this was confirmed by my doctor, my boyfriend also notice that he had equal infection. this is something that has solely recently come to feathery with both (noticeably surrounded by the 3 months between smear and colposcopy) as we have be checked in days gone by by a GUM doctor. we have be together 5 years and never had a problem next to this infection, neither of us has be with anyone else since we met, but my boyfriend is immediately having doubts that i may hold done something which i havent. what is the reason at the back this problem only not long coming to light??

Whoever the doctor was is an idiot, I get them when I was surrounded by my early 20's (on my cervix) and they took a biopsy to clear sure it was HPV and when the audition came spinal column positive, they did cryosurgery (froze it off) go to a different doctor, and not sure something like incubation period, but my doctor told me usually you might see signs w/in 2 months of exposure and additionally, I be told that since this issue, my paps are recommended at every 6 months since it could return.
