What are the residual effects of Bell's Palsy?

Answer:
I had Bell's Palsy within 1999 and have residual effects in a minute. However, by all accounts it seem that I am in the minority. Other relatives who have have it seem to restore your health completely within a few weeks.

I enjoy to add that it is not a problem have residual effects. I can eat and speak okay (and others can vouch for that!). Also problems related to my eye not closing are okay because I can blink okay. I do own a 'synchineses' so my eye and mouth go 'in synch' but that basically means populace think I am wink at them across the dinner table.

If you have it after 6 weeks later I guess you may be left near something residual. I eventually got referred to a physio who said I should enjoy seen her from the genesis. She said the synchinesis wouldn't have be so bad if I have. So, if you have have it for a few weeks and it's not improving next you should push for physio now.

I ponder accupuncture is also a good psychiatric therapy.

I also think the perception and treatment is appalling. All individuals seem to deliberate about is how you look. But your obverse is so functional and I wasn't bothered about how I looked because I feel so bad physically. I wait weeks to see a 'specialist' who deigned to advocate me on my hair and perfume and had nought to say roughly the actual illness!! You should enjoy seen the state of her too!
Can be from essentially nought to paralysis of side.
I have Bell's Palsy as ably. My doctor said it varies on the severity of your Bell's Palsy. He said since mine is mild, that in attendance shouldn't be any residual effects. But it your have total paralysis of the side of your facade, you could have residual effects. He did not transmit me what because he said I would most likely not hold them. Look them up.
I found this website for a friend who was diagnosed near Bell's Palsy. It should answer all your question.
