Is it ample?

I am buring only 200 cals on my tredmill and later I dont kow how many during my 15-20 min stretch & freight lift, is this ample exercise if I want to lose 35-40lbs and I intake 1200-1600 cals per day?

I conjecture I have a really slow metabolism b/c i gain about 30lbs within the last 2 years until 5 weeks ago when I started working out and couting cals/ consumption better. I havent seen any results on the go up yet or surrounded by my clothes but i feel better.

Mabey I should step it up? What do you suppose?
