Good for you that you are against crash dieting - that is bad news and does more harm than good. There is NO quick fix! As for losing ... research always has and still will continue to show that you must 'put out' more than you 'take in'. Diets work because you are restricting your caloric intake, but they fail most people because they are too complicated to follow forever. And this is the KEY to losing weight and keeping it off. It must be something you can handle for the rest of your life.
What has worked for me is cutting back on sugar and fat and while eating more fruits and veggies and whole grains. I avoid white sugar, bread, and rice as often as I can. The trick is to NEVER tell yourself "never" (for instance, I LOVE Chinese food and so I do eat white rice on occasion). Doing that only sets you up for failure. Also, there is good research behind eating MORE smaller meals about 6 times a day rather than 3 huge meals. They say it keeps your metabolism going all day and never allows for it to "shut off".
Also, I allow myself "treats" on the weekends so that I don't feel deprived and want to binge all of the sudden. This also helps keep me on track during the week because I look forward to the weekends and can enjoy myself more!
And lastly, exercise is KEY! Not only to having a shapely figure, but to prolong your life and health. You don't have to kill yourself either ... a good 30 minute walk at least 5 x's a week should do the trick. It will help in so many ways besides just losing weight! I also weight train 2 - 3 x's a week and believe in it 100%!! It keeps you young, helps with problem areas like your tummy and thighs (for sure!), prevents bone disease and degeneration, and makes you feel STRONG and SEXY! =)
(Never believe the myth that weight lifting will bulk you up - that is impossible for women unless they take steroids. What it will do is lean you out and fight cellulite big time!)

Don't diet. Eat atleast three meals. Pick healthier choices. Try crunches to strenghthen your stomach muscles and go for daily walks to help with your legs.
You can't spot reduce. when you lose a pound you lose it all over your body from your face to your feet! You will notice the weight loss first in your breasts, not your stomach, and thighs. Eat a 1,300 calorie diet and exercise 6 times a week for an hour, doing aerobics and strength training exercises.
Well, you should do push-ups. They really help to make your stomach flat and skinny, and for the thighs, you should ride a bycicle more often, it helps to strenghten the legs and make thighs skinnier and with a pretty shape.
And remember, it's not how much you eat, it's WHAT you eat. So stop eating candy and greasy food and replace them by fruit and vegetables.
Run or, excercise in any way you can so that you burn calories and you'll be skinnier in a few weeks.

There's no way to lose weight in particular places, it's just not possible. The best thing you can do to lose weight/burn fat is cardio. Anything that will get your heart rate up! Jump roping, running, if you belong to a gym jump on the elliptical machine (that's my favorite!). As far as eating: fruits, veggies, a lot of water, whole weat bread instead of white, etc. Good luck!
Do a mixture of cardio (swimming, running, etc.) and muscle build-up (crunches, squats, etc.) Eat a low-calorie diet, but make sure you're getting the right nutrition and enough calories. You will lose fat in more places than your stomach and your thighs if you exercise and eat right.

Use the Couch-Potato Diet(copyright PinkReload). See, what you do is sit in your chair and play computer games ALL day. Just get up to go to the bathroom and eat(btw, eat healthier).
You need to buy one of those mini trampolines, they are about 48' and they make you lose weight so fast. You have to jump on it about 1hour a day. I prefer the brand BODYFIT by Sports Authority it works the best and has the best results it also comes with a instructional book on excercices you can do to make you lose weight faster. Sit up, suck in your stomach and turn your chest/upper body slowly to the left, and then to the right. Keep your stomach sucked in tight. This works all of the abdominals and if you do this for 10-15 minutes each day you will see results in about a week.
Upper thighs are harder but deep squats always help. stand with your legs about 3 feet apart and squat slowly going lower each time. Keep your stomach sucked in also to keep your posture.
