Count the amount of calories in your diet to make sure that your eating habits don't overshadow the excercise you put in.
Good diet and exercise. and sometimes YOU CANT! because of genes. Have you seen Fighters? Like boxing or mma? They do a lot of exercise and they still have love handles.

Try running a bit farther you need to have at least 20 minutes of cardio to have any affect. A good diet and ab exercise's wont hurt either. Good Luck!!
Start With Cardio

I spoke to my trainer at the "Y", he said that diet and excercise are it, without chemicals. He also said that for me it's sort of an uphill battle because I'm at an age where my body is changing the way it proceses fuel. Aperantly it is just trying to store more. Although I am a "wholistic", I actually find myself paying more attention to weight loss commercials, but there is soo much crap out there, the FDA doesn't give a hoot what companys sell or what it does to the people that buy that stuff.
There are many ways to lose body fat. One would eating correctly, another exercising correctly, and the other using a suppliment of some kind to aid weight loss.
I will give you a scenerio. If you give a Lion hay and a Zebra T-bone Steak do you think they will be healthy? Well, humans were not genetically designed for sweets, wheats, starches, carbs, peanut oil, cereal, and the list goes on and on. What I would recommend is high protien and high fiber diet. A lot fruit, fish, grass fed beef, and chicken are great sources of a healthy living.
People seem to be under the impression that cardio Vascular does everything for you. But it you want to sculpture your body you need to do stretching exercises. Now, stand up straight and stretch your arms straight up over your head. then once in that position bend to the side as far as you can, repeat same on other side , do this 10 times each . daily. Take note as to where you feel the muscles pull, It's these muscles you need to tone to get those love handles under control.
